Clear Institute Protocol for Scoliosis Correction / Reduction

THE MIX

The first step in the correction of the spine, known as the MIX, involves increasing spinal flexibility and fluid flow by “loosening up” the muscles, ligaments, and tendons in the spine through the patient’s use of specialized equipment designed solely for that purpose.

We’ll work to soften your tissues, ligaments, and muscles, employing the following techniques:

VIBRATORY TRACTION

The premise behind the Vibrating Traction is simple. Research done by top scientists has suggested that occupational drivers tend to suffer from a higher-than-average incidence of low back pain, due to the effect of the engine’s vibration upon the spinal discs. It turns out that the exact same frequency has highly beneficial effects in relaxing ligaments and discs, as well as rehabilitating the spine! Vibration traction uses the same principle to help make your spine and ligaments accept correction.

THE WOBBLE CHAIR

A height-adjustable stool that provides 360 degrees of rotation, 40 degrees of side to side flexion, and 35 degrees of front-to-back flexion to provide lumbar disc mobility and rehydration.

CERVICAL TRACTION

Relieves stress/tension in the neck. It helps elongate the spine and rehydrate the discs and also opens the energy in the neck to re-energize your body.

LEANDER FLEXION DISTRACTION TABLE AND CORE STIM

Leander Flexion Distraction Table increases flexibility in nexk and back and helps to speed up healing process to damaged discs. Core Slim relieves muscle spasms, initiates the healing process of the body and begins with healing old injuries.

Flexion distraction. Gently stretches and flexes the spine, again making you flexible and pliable enough to accept correction and hold it long-term.

THE FIX

Once the supporting spinal structures are loosened and pliable, the doctor will then direct the spine into proper alignment through safe, gentle and effective spinal adjustments, referred to as the FIX.

THE CHIROPRACTIC ADJUSTMENT

The Chiropractic Adjustment is based on forty-one different measurements and twenty-three angles determined by your individual x-rays.

The main focus of Corrective Chiropractic is the detection, reduction and correction of spinal misalignments and nervous system dysfunction.

Corrective Chiropractic primarily seeks to maximize the natural strengths of the body and its capacity to heal itself without the use of drugs or surgery.

Correction is determined by comparative studies between pre and post posture and x-ray measurements.

THE SET

The last step, the SET, is re-educating the body’s supporting muscles to hold and maintain your newly corrected positions. The body’s weaker areas must be rebuilt. This is done through a precise spinal weighting and exercise system.

You’ll learn to actually retrain your body through a series of innovative treatments…

Gate Therapy. Recent scientific articles have proven that there are differences in how people with scoliosis walk and move, as compared to people without scoliosis. After a while, the brain develops a pattern to help the body balance. With gait therapy, we actually retrain the brain and body to walk correctly, and decrease spinal curvature in the process!

BODY WEIGHTING ON THE VIBE

in the body will respond to different frequencies. You’ll stand on a platform that is set to gently vibrate the tissues in your spine, which increases blood circulation, decreases pain, and promotes joint strength and flexibility. PLUS, vibration therapy actually helps you RETRAIN your body and hold your corrections!

SCOLIOSIS CHAIR

The Scoliosis Chair actually puts your body in the exact OPPOSITE direction of your scoliosis!
